This is a core device that is housed in the vertical evaporator cylinder. Connected and driven by an auger motor, it continuously rotates to scrape frozen ice off the barrel walls. With its spiral configuration, scraped ice slush is drawn upward until it is pushed into the extruder head. The D-Drive is an engineered feature used to eliminate slippage and provide a solid connection with the drive assembly.
