Welcome to Gulf Ice Systems, Inc. Warranty Department information site, which is established to assist customers, dealers and/or service agents with warranty information and requirements.

IMPORTANT: If you are having a service related issue with your equipment, remember that not all equipment faults are considered a warranty condition and not all conditions are covered under warranty. The definition of warranty as related to ice making equipment is a guarantee against defects of manufacturing and or part related failures that keep the ice maker from functioning as it was intended.

If a service technician finds that the diagnosis of the fault is not a warranty condition, you will be billed for the service. It is very important that you review "What is not covered under warranty" and understand that warranty doesn't cover all service related faults or billable items.  If for any reason the manufacturer will not cover the warranty, the end-user is responsible for any debt issued by the agent for the service.

If at anytime you wish to check the warranty status of your equipment, please call our warranty department, so they can assist you in this matter.  You must provide both model and serial number.

Ice-O-Matic LEAK DIAGRAM

Feel free to make as many copies as needed. A leak diagram must accompany any warranty claim that has a refrigerant leak. You must circle the location of the leak. Click here to see diagram.

TEMPORARY CLAIM FORM

Use this form for warranty purposes if you do not have a claim form on hand. An original service invoice is still required for submittal. Our warranty department will transfer the information off the temporary form over to an original claim form. Please indicate your fax number on the temporary form and our warranty department will fax a copy of the new claim after processing (for your records).

NOTICE: Gulf Ice Systems, Inc. doesn't warranty any equipment we sale. The warranty is covered by the manufacturer warranty. The manufacturer is the company covering the expenses on the equipment or parts and labor (if applicable). Gulf Ice Systems, Inc. doesn't make policy, adjustments, denials or judgments against any claims submitted. We have no influence on judgments or denials made by the manufacturer. However, Gulf Ice Systems, Inc. stands by the manufacturers warranty and will do everything possible to process and submit a claim for warranty and forward compensation to the appropriate parties. It is our responsibility to provide service to repair equipment that has failed under warranty for equipment sold thru GIS. We will follow through with this responsibility to have the equipment serviced until repairs are completed to the customers satisfaction within the manufacturers guidelines and policies.
